Given the Covid-19 pandemic, this virtual beer tasting will take place via Zoom. The price of the event is $25, which includes the price of 4 Beers, an expert lesson on how the beers are made and appropriate British food pairings. This will equally serve as your tax deductible donation. You will be tasting British beers and ciders, sampled from different Triangle breweries.
NOFO Cafe @ The Pig is our local support for this event. Beers will be available for pick-up between March 18 and March 22nd at NOFO Cafe in Raleigh's Five Points.
World Water Day is intended to draw attention to the importance of freshwater and the sustainable management of freshwater.
All funds raised during this event will go directly toward building a well in a refugee camp in Northern Uganda. Refugee camps in Northwestern Uganda are currently seeing a tremendous increase in the number of refugees escaping conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. The need for water there is great, and the UN Refugee Agency has identified an urgent need for 27 wells to improve the standard of living for all the refugees in this camp.
Our hope is that with our joint love for local breweries and the promotion of clean water, that we can help dig one of these 27 wells!
**All tickets/donations are tax deductible.**
