Event Details:

Join us for First Friday celebrating the opening of "Throbbing Life" by internationally-acclaimed visual artist Miguel Milló at State of Beer on Thursday, February 7th, 2025.

Experience the mesmerizing work of internationally acclaimed Mexican artist Miguel Milló, whose unique vision transforms the human body into living art through the application of natural elements like clay, flowers, and fruits. From 5-9 PM, immerse yourself in a collection of stunning large-format prints on linen that capture fleeting moments of natural beauty and human connection. Families are welcome to explore interactive exhibits including hands-on art stations where children can create their own ephemeral art pieces using natural materials.

These stunning works by Miguel Milló are available for purchase in two formats:
ink on cotton paper (framed) and printed on linen (gallery wrapped/unframed). The works presented in this exhibition are printed on linen. To inquire about orders, please visit this page or reach out to Cody (cody@raleighsistercities.org)

Light refreshments will be served, along with State of Beer's full menu available. This event will be family-friendly, with children's art activities provided. Come discover how Milló's lens celebrates diversity and bridges the gap between humanity and nature in this not-to-be-missed exhibition. *This is a free event, but please RSVP.
