We look forward to celebrating these anniversaries throughout the year with special events and opportunities—more details to come.

January Lookback: Reflecting, Connecting & Looking Ahead

January was a month of reflection and connection for Raleigh Sister Cities. During our board retreat, we collectively affirmed a shared focus for the year ahead: strengthening collaborative and formal partnerships that expand global connections here in Raleigh.

Partnerships can look many different ways: co-hosting events, supporting youth and educational programming, collaborating with universities, cultural institutions, nonprofits, or businesses, or exploring entirely new ideas together. If you’re interested in partnering with Raleigh Sister Cities, reach out and let us know how you’d like to work together. We’d love to explore what collaboration could look like.

In January, we also enjoyed a hands-on cultural experience as members learned how to flip crepes like a pro during a French culinary class. Special thanks to French chef Florence Melin of Sucre et Sel and Le Gourmet Getaway for sharing her expertise and passion for authentic French cuisine.

Florence specializes in immersive French culinary experiences, from private dinners and cooking classes to curated travel adventures. This summer, she’s hosting a chef-led journey through Provence, and a few spots are still available. Learn more at: https://www.sucre-sel.com/
